Welcome to The New Helpful Garden!

Welcome to the NEW Helpful Garden! This has been in the works for such a long time. We are pleased as punch to be launching. We have so much planned and have been both giddy and anxious about all that lies ahead. Some of you have been with us since the very beginning of The Helpful Garden in 2007 and we really love how this community has grown to be such a great group of supporters to one another. This world of Montessori isn’t really all that big. We have gotten to know many of you pretty well over the years. We are so looking forward to the future connections and family we will become as we bring The Helpful Garden into the future.

The original purpose of The Helpful Garden was to create a place where it was just fine to do well, to need help, to learn, change and grow, and a place to help the children in our lives. It was never in our wildest imagination that this little blog would have so many followers nor have the kind of global reach it does. As The Helpful Garden moves forward we do so with an expanded vision of the possible lives we will touch and it thrills us to the core. The four of us… Cathie, Katie, Leticia, and Milly decided that now was the right time to join forces. Montessori brings us together. Our love of children brings us together. Friendship brings us together.

What is Foresight Montessori?

We always start by chatting about our lives, our loves, our woes… but eventually the conversation turns into deep, meaningful discussions about Montessori, about education, about what the world really needs, and how the heck are we ever supposed to do something worthwhile about it. We can get awfully passionate about it all and we are sure it would be really fun to be a fly on the wall.

One December night in 2019 we got together for dinner and started talking about our desire to make Montessori more accessible and understandable to everyone. To children, parents, homeschooling families, teachers, support staff, administrators, schools, and the world. That night changed the direction of our lives.

That night Foresight Montessori was born.

How do Foresight Montessori and The Helpful Garden Connect…

The Helpful Garden is now becoming the blog for Foresight Montessori. The Foresight Montessori website will be the hub for any Montessori resources, materials, services, and ideas mentioned on the blog. Whenever we post on the blog you will have access to all kinds of support and additional resources through Foresight Montessori
